Head of Application Development
We are delighted to exclusively partner with a top-ranked law firm in their search for a new Head of Application Development. This is an excellent opportunity to join a forward-thinking firm as a key member of the senior management team, where you'll play a pivotal role in enhancing user experiences and improving service delivery through strong collaboration with lawyers, ensuring more connected and seamless interactions.
As the Head of Application Development, you will lead a team of developers and application support specialists, working closely with the Chief Technology Officer and the broader business. Following a recent review, the applications team now comprises 11 members with responsibilities ranging from coding for integrations and user experience improvements to developing low-code/no-code solutions for lawyer-facing products.
The team is responsible for providing high-level support and development for both existing and future low-code/no-code LOB solutions. Additionally, you will oversee the design, development, and maintenance of applications that integrate across our hybrid cloud platform.
This role is ideal for someone with a development background who is a clear and confident communicator, eager to build and enhance applications while managing a team effectively.
The role can be based in any of the firm's offices, including Nottingham, Birmingham, London, Manchester, Leeds, Sheffield, and Oxford, with occasional travel to other UK locations.
