A highly regarded international law firm has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Recruitment Coordinator to join them on a permanent basis to provide full graduate, lateral and professional recruitment support, as well as generalist support to the HR Team.

Responsibilities will include:

Graduate recruitment:

  • Responding to incoming graduate recruitment queries,
  • Providing support for all elements of onsite and offsite recruitment activities including law firms, campus events, assessment days and vacation schemes.
  • Collating and circulating feedback and managing wash up sessions.
  • Managing ad-hoc work experience programmes including liaising with candidates, induction scheduling and overseeing candidate experience.
  • Responsibility for running the US summer associate programme in London.

Graduate Development:

  • Pastoral support and regular check ins with trainee cohorts.
  • Collecting and collating trainee review comments at mid seat and end of seat.
  • Managing the seat rotation process in consultation with supervisors.

Lateral Recruitment:

  • Preparing job descriptions and coordinating hiring processes with legal recruitment agencies, business services recruiters and executive search consultancies.
  • Ownership of interview scheduling process, including responsibility for internal and external communications throughout.
  • Collating and circulating interview feedback.

Generalist HR Support:

  • Preparing management reports.
  • Assisting with compensation modelling and research.
  • Preparing HR correspondence including changes to terms and conditions, maternity and paternity processes and compensation documentation.
  • Supporting senior HR team members with employee relations issues, investigations and other sensitive and confidential matters.

 

The successful applicant will have gained the following key skills:

  • Strong professional interpersonal skills and the ability to interact effectively with internal and external clients and stakeholders.
  • Comfortable handling sensitive and delicate employee relations matters.
  • At least 2 years experience working within a legal HR or other professional services environment.
  • Experience of at least one full graduate recruitment cycle,
