A leading law firm has a new opportunity for a Graduate Recruitment & Development Assistant to join their highly regarded team. You will be responsible for providing first class support and client service to the Early Careers team on all aspects of Apprentice and Trainee attraction activity, recruitment and pastoral care of early talent throughout their seat rotations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Supporting the Early Talent Advisor for the planning and execution of attraction events with schools and university campuses as well as diversity and inclusion initiatives.
  • Co-ordinating the Open Days for prospective applicants.
  • Supporting the creation and updating of content on social networking sites relating to early talent pages on internal website, LinkedIn, Instagram etc.
  • Screening applications and inviting candidates to assessment stages
  • Point of contact for all student enquiries
  • Scheduling and coordinating the logistics of assessment centres and interviews
  • Supporting the trainee appraisal process
  • Maintaining and updating the HR System on trainee changes, including seat moves.
  • Meeting trainees on a regular basis for check ins
  • Supporting the Senior Early Talent Advisor with the trainee qualification process

The successful applicant will be an excellent team player with a committed and enthusiastic approach. You will ideally have knowledge of the legal sector and the training process, coupled with good organisational skills and the ability to prioritise. Early Careers will be an area of passion, and you will have the ability to work under pressure.
