Totum is currently working with a leading law firm to recruit a Finance Compliance Manager. This is a fully remote role with the opportunity to make a real impact from day one.
You’ll be responsible for managing a small reconciliation team, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and strengthening processes to prevent and manage financial breaches.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead, support, and develop a small reconciliation team
- Ensure compliance with financial regulatory obligations, including breach management
- Implement and improve financial controls and compliance processes
- Maintain and monitor breach registers, ensuring appropriate action is taken
- Work closely with stakeholders across the business to promote best practice
- Drive continuous improvement and support the growth of the team, including the current supervisor
Skills & Experience Required:
- Strong working knowledge of SRA Accounts Rules – essential
- Experience in a finance compliance or risk role within a law firm
- Proven team management or leadership experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
- Analytical, organised, and confident in improving and embedding processes
- ILFM qualification – desirable but not essential
