Ideal opportunity for a creative, talented Events Manager looking for a new challenge, or an experienced BD Manager with a real passion for events.

 

Looking for a challenging and rewarding role as an Events Manager? We are working with a leading professional services firm who are seeking an experienced and motivated individual to lead their events team and take ownership of rolling out the new client and internal events strategy.

 

As a senior member of the team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all events are aligned with the firms’ strategic priorities, coaching and developing a team of Event Advisors and working with the wider BD & Marketing team to track ROI and promote best practice. You will also act as the team ambassador, developing relationships with key stakeholders across the firm and sharing regular communications on trends and challenges in the events space.

 

With a focus on client and internal events, as well as corporate hospitality, corporate merchandise, and arts sponsorship relationships, you will take ownership of the events agenda within the firm and regularly review the portfolio of events to ensure they are fit for purpose and support the firms’ strategic objectives.

 

Other key responsibilities include negotiating cost savings, managing relationships with key external suppliers, and researching and monitoring the external events market to ensure events are market-leading and innovative.

 

The successful candidate will have significant experience in event management, as well as contract negotiation and financial management. They will also have excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills and be able to build strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders.

The role will be based at the firms London HQ, with regular international travel (approx. 10 times per year) and hybrid working.
