This Events Manager role will be responsible for the lifecycle of a range of in-person, hybrid and virtual events. The successful candidate for this Events Manager role will be working as part of the wider Marketing and BD team, in a hands-on role that will require the ability to work strategically and operationally to bring event concepts to life which will set this firm apart from its competitors. Events will range in size, from bespoke events to high profile flagship client events, as well as taking ownership of internal events for the firm.
The remit of this varied role will include developing and executing comprehensive event project plans, in alignment with the firms’ strategic objectives. You’ll be coordinating all aspects of event logistics and providing first class on the day support to ensure an excellent attendee experience. Post event, you’ll proactively obtain and analyse feedback, to continuously improve best practice. Excellent project management and negotiation skills will be key to the success of this Events Manager role, as you’ll be responsible for driving each project forward and taking ownership of pricing and contract negotiations.
The successful candidate for this Events Manager role will have strong experience in managing BD driven client events, ideally gained in a professional services environment. Strong communication and relationship building skills, a natural problem solving ability and meticulous attention to detail is a must for this role, coupled with the ability to manage a deadline driven workload. My client is looking for an Events Manager who is creative and loves to bring new ideas to the table, as well as being highly collaborative, able to influence and has a good working knowledge of MS Office and CRM systems.
This Events Manager role is covering a period of parental leave, so candidate will need to be available immediately, and able to commit to a minimum 9 month contract.
