Senior Events Executive

12-month FTC

We are delighted to be working with this top tier global law firm who are looking for a high performing Events Executive to join their existing team based in London on a 12-month contract basis to cover parental leave.

 

This firm are hugely respected and successful, with exciting plans in place to continue this upward trajectory. The existing events team are well established, highly regarded and very supportive.

 

This Events Executive role is a superb opportunity for an established Events Executive or Senior Executive who is looking for a role that will offer autonomy and ownership, as the successful candidate will manage the full lifecycle of a range of events from end to end. This is a global role, which will require travel on occasion.

 

The remit of the role will be broad and include:

 

  • Project management of complex events (in person, virtual and hybrid) for up to 200 people, in the UK and globally, from initial brief to delivery and post event analysis
  • Advising stakeholders on event and client hospitality best practice
  • Researching event industry trends and attend industry conference and networking opportunities
  • Manage existing and develop new supplier relationships
  • Management of budgets, contract and pricing negotiations

 

The successful candidate for this Events Executive role will be an established Events Executive with experience gained in a professional services, financial services or in-house corporate environment. Experience of managing the full lifecycle of events, from concept to post event analysis is essential, and exposure to global events would be highly advantageous, although not essential. First class communication skills, a passion for events and the wider events industry and a collaborative style is a pre-requisite.

 

The ability to travel internationally (up to 6 times per year) is required for this role, which is based in London and offers hybrid working of 3 days in the office and 2 days from home.
