Key Responsibilities:

• Lead ESG BD Strategy: Take ownership of implementing their ESG BD strategy, driving forward initiatives to enhance our sustainability profile and impact.
• Communicate ESG Priorities: Collaborate across the firm to communicate and confirm ESG priorities, aligning BD strategies with their sustainability goals.
• Client Relationship Management: Develop and nurture relationships with key clients and intermediaries active within the ESG space, fostering partnerships and identifying opportunities.
• Client Listening Programme: Lead our ESG client listening programme to gain insights into client net-zero goals and broader ESG agendas.
• Marketing and Content Creation: Develop external marketing collateral and content that showcases our ESG capabilities, enabling the firm to pursue and win ESG instructions and partnerships confidently.
• Support Pitch Process: Collaborate with partners to respond to client and profile-raising opportunities, leveraging our ESG goals to enhance our competitive edge.
• Client Meetings: Support the pitch process and client meetings from an ESG perspective, providing valuable insights and expertise.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in business development or marketing roles within the legal or professional services industry and have an interest in ESG.
• Demonstrated passion for ESG and sustainability, with a track record of driving initiatives and delivering results in this area.
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with stakeholders at all levels.
• Strategic mindset with the ability to align BD strategies with broader sustainability goals and client needs.
• Proactive and results-oriented approach, with the ability to drive revenue growth and enhance the firm's ESG profile.
