A unique opportunity for an experienced Early Careers Manager to join a highly regarded law firm as their Early Careers Business Partner. This new role will lead the attraction, recruitment and development of early careers and graduate legal talent.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Manage the full life cycle of the training contract process.
  • Lead implementation of SQE.
  • Develop partnerships with local schools, build presence within graduate markets, and build strong relationships with career services and student recruitment specialists.
  • Design and deliver an annual work experience programme for early careers talent.
  • Design and deliver an annual graduate vacation scheme including designing and implementing the selection process.
  • Design and deliver insight days and open days for undergraduate talent.
  • Manage the firms annual legal and solicitor apprentice programme and process.
  • Develop associated social media, which showcases the early careers and graduate opportunities.

The successful applicant will have the following skills:

  • Proven HR and Graduate Development experience in a professional services organisation
  • Strong grasp of technical HR knowledge
  • Understanding and experience of graduate screening and selection, to include excellent interviewing skills
  • Proven track record of building credibility quickly and developing trusted advisor relationships with senior stakeholders
  • Experience of delivering projects and processes on a cyclical basis
  • Computer literate - good working knowledge of Word, Excel, PowerPoint and HR Systems
