Director of Marketing, Communications and Business Development 

The opportunity for any marketing and business development professional to join a firm with a strong track record of success, and with ambition to do a lot more is always an incredibly attractive one. We are delighted to be partnering with property consultancy, Carter Jonas to recruit a Director of Marketing, Communications and Business Development that offers this opportunity. The position is newly created and will be a key member of the firm’s leadership team.

Carter Jonas is a firm of over 1000 people across over 34 locations. It stands as one of the largest independent property consultancies in the UK. The firm is a market leader with expertise in commercial, residential, rural, planning, development, and infrastructure projects, maintaining strong relationships with an enviable list of high-profile clients. Importantly, the culture is collaborative and inclusive, valuing ideas and solutions from all members of its people. Reporting to the CEO, sitting on the Management Board, and leading marketing, communications and business development, this is a pivotal hire for the firm, offering an exciting opportunity at a crucial point in the firm’s development. The firm has an existing team in marketing and an existing team in business development, however they have been led by two different Directors, and whilst they have worked alongside one another, the firm are now looking to integrate the teams into one function and approach.

The Director will act as a strategic advisor to the firm’s management team, partners and business services colleagues. The firm are looking for an experienced individual to review the existing marketing and business development strategy and activity, making recommendations for development and leading these. This will include the development of and management of the firm’s brand, marketing, communications and continued improvement of business development and management of clients. The successful candidate will have proven experience of leading the breath of marketing and business development activity within a professional services partnership.
