Totum Partners is pleased to work with a leading law firm to recruit a Credit Controller for a 6-month FTC offering remote work.
The ideal credit Controller be responsible for the following:
- Phone calls/emails to chase overdue invoices.
- Regularly communicate with Partners, Lawyers, and Clients.
- Collaborate frequently with other teams within the Finance department to identify root causes and resolve issues efficiently.
- Understand and address the requirements of clients and Partners/Lawyers effectively.
- Keep the database updated with detailed notes and ensure high-quality system usage.
- Develop and execute strategies to optimise collections and minimise delinquencies.
The ideal Credit Controller will have:
- Experienced in Credit Control within the insurance, legal, or professional services sector.
- Regularly and flexible, able to work independently and take initiative.
- Strong attention to detail with excellent communication and numeracy skills.
- Experience in handling bad debt is beneficial but not necessary.
