We are seeking a Cloud Engineer to work for a small, yet growing professional services firm. The role will be reporting to the Head of IT and joining the IT function which currently consists of 5 members of staff.
The Cloud Engineer will be in charge of monitoring and managing the technology foundations that underpin IT services ensuring they are reliable, performant and secure. The Engineer will also undertake key project work and will have the opportunity to build out new and bespoke platforms using a combination of best-of-breed infrastructure technology and supporting SaaS applications.
Responsibilities:
- Operate as the Technical Lead in all new applications and cloud-hosted projects
- Manage the deployment, monitoring maintenance development, upgrade and support of IT systems.
- Contribute to the drive and automation and continuous improvement
Technical Experience:
- Microsoft Azure (VMs, SQL, Storage, Networking)
- Virtual Desktops
- 365 Suite - Exchange Online, Teams, OneDrive
- Intune Endpoint Management / Autopilot
