Client Development Manager – Leading International Law Firm
Executive Summary: This firm is on a mission to accelerate growth with a distinctive sector focus and a strategy to become the most client-centric global law firm. This newly created role will work closely with their Corporate, Private Equity, and Real Estate teams to develop and implement client strategies that align with our ambition to deliver exceptional client service.
About the Role: Their Private Equity team is a key player in mid-market leveraged cross-border transactions. They work with private equity sponsors, investee companies, management teams, and debt providers across various industries and deal sizes. Our core team is supported by specialists in leverage finance and other advisory services required for complex buy-out transactions.
This role will have a split focus between London and Germany so they are looking for someone who has experience working in the German market previously and ideally holds German language skills.
Key Responsibilities:
- Client Engagement: Directly engage with key client stakeholders to understand their strategy, business issues, and legal needs.
- Strategic Relationships: Work with International Private Equity, Corporate, and Real Estate partners to enhance our approach to managing strategic client relationships.
- Growth Management: Actively manage a select number of international Private Equity and Funds relationships with significant growth potential. Collaborate with Client Relationship Partners to create and implement ambitious growth plans.
- Skill Development: Enable Partners and Associates to improve their client development efforts through coaching, skill-building, and sharing best practices.
