This leading law firm is seeking an experienced Client Development Manager to join their team on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will be joining a friendly team committed to delivering consistent and high-quality client service. In this role, the Client Development Manager will be responsible for supporting the financial services and investment funds practice group in London, as well as other firmwide strategic initiatives across EMEA.

The ideal candidate should have the ability to interact with all levels of the company, including members of the Marketing Department, business support teams, and lawyers. They will support and execute the marketing, client development, and communication efforts of the financial services and investment funds practice group in London and Dublin, as well as other firmwide strategic initiatives.

The Client Development Manager will lead and conduct various research projects used for business development efforts, including company and industry research, pursuit lists, and competitive intelligence to exploit market differentiation. They will be responsible for developing tailored pitches, presentations, and responses to RFPs for specific clients, prospects, industries, and sectors that demonstrate client understanding and the firms competitive advantages. They will also oversee and coordinate a range of client communications, including legal updates, newsletters, and specific thought leadership campaigns.

Additionally, the Client Development Manager will be responsible for managing end-to-end processes for drafting, submission, and related follow-up on relevant legal directory submissions and league table submissions. They will also manage and draft ad hoc awards submissions.

The successful candidate should have experience of BD within a professional services environment, preferably a law firm. They should also possess excellent organisational and planning skills, excellent writing skills, and detail-oriented project management capabilities. They should have good interpersonal skills, maintain confidentiality, and be able to function in a collaborative organisation as a team player.
