Totum Partners is delighted to be partnering with Burges Salmon to find its next Chief Financial Officer (CFO). As the firm's most senior finance professional you will be a key member of the Strategic Board, Executive Committee, and Risk Committee. You will lead the finance function in implementing the firm's financial strategy and act as the Compliance Officer for Finance & Administration (COFA).
Your role:
- Strategy & Management: Contribute to the development and implementation of the firm's strategy, support strategic initiatives, and collaborate with fellow Chiefs to ensure efficient operational delivery of business services.
- Department Leadership: Lead the finance department, providing guidance and ensuring a proactive service that adds genuine value to the firm.
- Financial Performance: Oversee budgeting, expenditure control, and financial performance, ensuring alignment with the firm's strategy.
- Operational Finance: Ensure the efficiency of operational finance, maintaining financial control and data integrity.
- Management Information & Reporting: Provide financial management information and insight to the Strategic Board and other key stakeholders and firm committees.
- Compliance: Act as the COFA, ensuring compliance with SRA Accounts Rules and supporting the firm's relationship with the SRA.
