Foot Anstey is a quality national law firm delivering specialist and sectoral advice to an impressive portfolio of national clients. Its core values of collaboration over convention and championing aspiration and entrepreneurial spirit are led by its Managing Partner, Martin Hirst. To continue driving its ambitious growth plans, the firm is currently recruiting for a Chief Client Officer. This is a newly created and pivotal board-level appointment.

Working closely with Martin and the senior management team, you will develop and strategically support the firm’s growth across markets and sectors and bring the voice of the client to all discussions and decisions. It is expected that the CCO will be client facing and will gain an in-depth understanding of Foot Anstey’s clients and markets.Leading and driving the business development, marketing, and communications function, you will empower and enhance the team of specialists within these disciplines.

This is an incredibly exciting opportunity to work with an ambitious firm and have a genuine seat at the table. The environment is fast-paced, and client-focused and therefore requires an individual who is excited and motivated by this.

The firm is interested in commercial individuals with a strong track record leading client and business development within a professional services partnership. Previous experience of working within a law firm, or knowledge of the legal market would be advantageous, but not essential.

The ideal location for the role will be either Bristol or Southampton, although the firm is open minded about this, with the importance placed on flexibility to travel regularly, particularly between Bristol, Southampton and London.
