It’s well-established Business insight function sits at the heart of the firm, working closely with business development teams to enhance the firm's understanding of industries and sectors as well as to identify issues affecting the firm's clients. Moreover, the team performs in-depth research and analyses to support the internal strategic planning of the company, which includes advice for developing new products and services, revising existing ones, and improving overall differentiation.

The Insight team's job is to assist lawyers in developing their clients. With the help of senior management, we have developed a Client Relationship Programme that includes bespoke client interviews and surveys in an effort to improve overall customer service, performance, and connectivity.

You will:

  • Help to manage the business insights team on a day-to-day basis and assist the team lead (as well as the wider Business Development team) in researching and establishing critical business insights regarding clients, targets, intermediaries, specific industries and competitors within the firm's business development activities. 
  • Provide commercially orientated insight into the firm's pitches, client relationships, and business development activities. Reports, briefings, presentations and recommendations will be developed from a range of external and internal data sources, including CRM, accounts' systems, public information services, and social networking sites.
  • Analyze competitors to identify opportunities for practice growth
  • Coordinate and assist with the client relationship program (project management, data collection, and analysis)
  • Provide insight into the firm's sectors to the firm's departmental heads
  • Drive and support business development activities across key industry and practice areas through research campaigns
  • Work collaboratively with all members of the BD team.
  • Work with communications and knowledge services' resources within the firm as well as external suppliers
  • Utilize all communication channels for the firm, e.g. website, e-newsletters, media, sponsorship, conferences, research, and networking events.
