We are working with a leading full-service law firm, with offices across the UK, to help them find a talented and dynamic Business Development Manager, based out of either their Reading or Oxford locations.

Due to continued growth and success, the firm are looking for an experienced Business Development Manager to join the existing team, working closely with senior stakeholders to develop and grow the firms presence in specific markets and sectors. This would be an excellent opportunity for an existing BD Manager looking for a new challenge, or a BD Manager that is looking to work more locally to home.

This BD Manager role will be busy and varied. There will be lots of opportunity to be client facing, attending networking events and building strong relationships in the region.

The successful candidate for this BD Manager role will be working closely with a talented and engaged group of partners, to develop ideas and initiatives to raise the firms’ profile regionally, and drive client relationships. The BD Manager will take ownership of lead generation and develop relationships with key clients as well as leading pitch projects and providing market and client insight and intelligence.

The ideal candidate for this Business Development Manager role will have at least 5 years’ experience of working as a BD Manager in a law firm or professional services environment, coupled with experience of managing a team. Excellent communication and project management skills are essential for this role, along with experience of working in pitches and client development experience.
