Business Development Manager

We are delighted to be working with this leading Advisory firm who are looking to hire a talented Business Development Manager to join their existing team based in London, in a newly created role.

 

This firm has been on a significant growth journey in the past 5 years which has delivered impressive results, and this success looks set to continue, largely driven by their excellent reputation, agile approach and their desire to continuously evolve and improve. The BD and Marketing function is extremely well respected by the fee earners and are empowered to act as true advisors to stakeholders.

This BD Manager role has a broad remit which includes:

 

  • Developing and delivering strategic BD plans across the service lines
  • Managing client targeting and client development initiatives
  • Ownership of thought leadership campaigns
  • Supporting the client programme with account management of key client and referrer relationships
  • Advising senior stakeholders around pitch strategy and best practice
  • Collaborating with the marketing team to provide strategic advice on campaigns
  • Identifying and leading key BD projects

 

This would be an excellent opportunity for a high performing Senior BD Executive who is looking for a step up, or an existing BD Manager who is looking for a new challenge and wants to work in an environment where you can really own your expertise.

 

The successful candidate for this BD Manager role will have:

 

  • Previous BD and/or Marketing experience gained in a professional services environment
  • Strong experience of delivering strategic BD initiatives and influencing senior stakeholders
  • Excellent commercial acumen, with a positive, ‘can do’ approach
  • First class communication skills
  • Solid relationship building skills and experience
  • High levels of attention to detail
