We are pleased to be working with a leading Management Consultancy firm who are looking to grow their existing Business Development Team based in London.

This Business Development Manager role is based in London and offers hybrid working, with a good level of flexibility. Due to the client facing element of this role, there would be some UK travel involved.

Experience of selling a service is essential for this role, and exposure to the professional services sector would be highly beneficial.

 

This remit of this Business Development Manager role will include:

 

  • Manage a portfolio of existing and target clients to identify growth opportunities, building relationships with key accounts, and selling specialist consultancy services at an expert level, managing the sales process from end to end.
  • Working with clients to scope out projects, supporting RFI’s, be the main point of contact through live projects and managing client feedback.
  • Collaborating with Talent Acquisition Partners to interview and match the right consultancy resource for client projects.
  • Ensure project success in partnership with consultants, team leaders and clients. Manage revenue growth and profitability goals while ensuring client satisfaction.

 

The successful candidate will require:

 

  • A proven track record of successfully developing business
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills
  • Experience of spotting opportunities through proactive, commercial conversations
  • A consultative, engaging business development style with lots of intellectual curiosity
