Business Development Manager (18-month FTC) — EMEA Capital Markets (Structured Credit)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Business Development Manager to join a leading global law firm’s EMEA Capital Markets team, focusing on the Structured Credit & Derivatives (SC&D) sub-section. This role plays a pivotal part in shaping and delivering marketing and BD strategies across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement the sub-section’s marketing and business development strategy in partnership with senior stakeholders.

  • Enhance visibility of the firm’s SC&D expertise through targeted initiatives and collaboration with partners and associates.

  • Lead the preparation of pitches, capability statements and other client-facing materials.

  • Support thought leadership projects and coordinate with Marketing Communications teams.

  • Liaise with BD colleagues across practices and industries to identify opportunities.

  • Organise events, conferences and campaigns.

  • Oversee press releases, internal/external communications and marketing collateral.

  • Manage CRM and other marketing technology tools.

About You:

  • Strong BD experience in a professional services or financial institution environment.

  • Highly organised, proactive and resilient, with excellent communication skills.

  • Proven project management capability and experience delivering pitches.

  • Familiarity with capital markets or related practice areas is desirable.

  • Confident using CRM systems, experience databases, AI tools and Microsoft Office
