Business Development Manager (12 month FTC)
Are you a dynamic and ambitious professional with a passion for business development? Our client is seeking a Business Development Manager to join their team on a 12-month fixed-term contract. This role offers a unique opportunity to work with a leading global law firm, driving forward their M&A strategy and supporting top-tier practices.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide strategic and day-to-day business development support and advice to the M&A team.
- Lead the preparation of proposals, pitch presentations, and credentials statements.
- Assist in the management of strategic client relationships and coordinate client targeting efforts.
- Conduct client listening sessions and ensure feedback is actioned appropriately.
- Oversee junior members of the M&A business development team, providing coaching and mentoring.
- Support business planning activities and market/client research.
- Identify and manage client events and hospitality opportunities.
- Develop and execute integrated business development campaigns.
Key Requirements:
- Substantial relevant marketing experience within a professional services organization or the Corporate and M&A sector.
- Proven track record of achieving business objectives in product-line and sector business development.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and influencing skills.
- Proactive, creative, and tenacious approach to work.
- Ability to work to deadlines, juggle multiple projects, and deliver under pressure.
- Strong client focus and high attention to detail.
- Experience in managing and inspiring teams to achieve business goals.
