Business Development Executive – Commercial Property Risk Solutions
Location: Home-based, covering London & M25 Corridor (Herts, Essex, Kent, Middlesex, Surrey, Berkshire)
Salary: £40,000 + car allowance + OTE
Type: Full-time, Permanent
My client is a UK-based division of a global organisation that specialises in providing risk management solutions for property transactions. With a long-standing reputation and deep expertise in the commercial and residential property sectors, they support legal and financial professionals by offering tailored protection against legal and ownership-related risks. Their consultative approach and bespoke services have made them a trusted partner for law firms, developers, and lenders across the UK.
This is an exciting opportunity for a driven and commercially minded Business Development Executive to join a growing team. You will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and increasing market share for commercial property risk solutions across London and the surrounding counties.
Reporting to the Head of Sales & Marketing UK, you will:
- Build and execute a strategic sales plan to win new business from law firms, lenders, and commercial real estate professionals.
- Develop long-term relationships with key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on legal risk and property transaction challenges.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
- Collaborate with internal teams including underwriting, claims, and compliance to deliver tailored client solutions.
What We’re Looking For
You are:
- A confident, self-starting sales professional with a strong track record in new business development.
- Experienced in selling services (ideally within financial services, legal, or commercial real estate sectors).
- Comfortable with longer sales cycles and relationship-driven selling.
- Commercially astute, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Based within the M25 corridor and willing to travel regularly.
