About the Company: A prominent global law firm with a strong presence in Europe. Their Business Development and Marketing Team (BDM) plays a crucial role in developing client relationships and enhancing their brand across the continent. The team consists of 18 professionals across six offices, specialising in BD, Proposals, Media Relations, Events, and Design.

Role Overview: The firm is seeking a highly skilled Business Development & Marketing Project Manager to join their European BDM team. This role is pivotal in supporting key BD initiatives and strategies, delivering top-tier proposals, RFPs, and other BD materials. The successful candidate will work closely with partners and senior managers to craft high-quality pitches and presentations, particularly in practice areas such as M&A, Private Equity, Corporate Finance, Capital Markets, and contentious areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the delivery of practice-specific and cross-practice BD initiatives, including targeting, research supervision, and preparation of BDM materials.
  • Draft and prepare high-level pitches, brochures, and BD presentations, collaborating with partners and senior managers.
  • Take ownership of pitch/presentation content, drafting tailored text to convey the firm's credentials.
  • Develop an understanding of the firm's business to create authoritative and convincing materials.
  • Challenge existing templates and content to improve pitch materials.
  • Lay out and amend marketing brochures and handouts using Adobe InDesign, Illustrator, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Compile experience lists using the firm's deals database and ensure it is up-to-date.
  • Collect European deal information and update firm databases accordingly.
  • Maintain frequently used documents and European marketing materials on the firm’s intranet and external website.
  • Train team members on the use of PPT, InDesign, and the firm’s experience database.
  • Comply with firm operations, policies, and procedures.

  • Proficiency in relevant software programs (InDesign, Illustrator, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Close attention to detail and excellent analytical, troubleshooting, organisational, and planning skills.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects and shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise independent judgment.
  • Flexibility to travel and adjust working hours as needed.
