Totum Partners is excited to collaborate with a leading law firm to secure a talented billing coordinator. This role, working closely with the Billing Manager and Billing Assistants, presents a dynamic opportunity.

 

The ideal candidate will be responsible for:

 

  • Efficiently manage workload across multiple inboxes and billing workflow.
  • Act as primary point of contact for Billing teams, addressing inquiries promptly.
  • Collaborate with departments to support seamless billing processes.
  • Conduct comprehensive training sessions for new team members.
  • Handle pro-forma generation, engrossing, and other billing tasks accurately.
  • Ensure timely resolution of billing queries.
  • Participate actively in monthly WIP meetings for designated partners.
  • Maintain client/matter rates and contribute to annual rate increases.
  • Manage intricate client billing requirements effectively.
  • Regularly clear pro-formas and process WIP write-offs and transfers.
  • Undertake additional projects and duties as assigned.
  • Provide seamless cover for the Billing Manager as needed.

 

Ideal Candidate will have:

 

  • Experience as a legal biller in a law firm – essential
  • Outstanding organizational skills to consistently meet deadlines.
  • Exceptional communication abilities to foster relationships across all levels.
  • Proficiency in billing applications, particularly Elite 3E.
  • Comprehensive understanding of VAT issues associated with legal service billing.
  • Proactive mindset, seeking opportunities for process improvement.
  • Adaptability to seamlessly transition between tasks.
  • Effective management and prioritization of workload.
