A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Bids Manager to join a global, innovative and forward thinking top UK law firm on a twelve month fixed term contract basis.
Reporting into the Head of Bids, this role will be a pivotal part of the well-established central bids team which has an above industry average win rate. You will be responsible for managing the production of panel and strategic projects across financial services.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Project management of overall bid process, working across multiple large panel pitches and strategic projects
  • Work closely with the Partners leading the opportunity and advising on bid best practice
  • Advise on bid strategy, messaging, structure and overall content direction
  • Working with the wider team to ensure all deal information and other information is captured and shared for future bids
  • Review, monitor and promote bid best practice
  • Undertaking opportunity analysis
  • Content editing and management
  • Line management of the Bids Executive, coaching and mentoring
Skills and Experience:
  • Experience of managing bids, providing advice on approach and strategy
  • Legal or other professional services sector experience preferred
  • Good writing and editorial skills
  • Leadership and influencing skills
  • An ability to engage with different groups and stakeholders around the business
  • Resilient, enthusiastic and highly organised
  • Motivated and confident with good communication skills
  • Project and time management skills
