We are delighted to be working with this leading specialist law firm who are looking for a talented, commercially minded BD Manager to join their existing team. This BD Manager will support several practice groups, including International Arbitration and Fraud. Experience of working in a Litigation practice would be highly beneficial, but the firm are also open to seeing people who have a keen interest in this area.

The BD Manager role will focus on developing and implementing the BD strategy for the practice areas, with a strong focus on creating new opportunities and raising the firm and individual profiles. Working as part of a small team, you’ll collaborate with your peers on a range of BD initiatives including pipeline management, client relationship management and cross selling projects.
This BD Manager role will have a strong client facing aspect to it, and you’ll be attending networking events and meeting with potential referral partners to develop relationships, as well as coordinating the delivery of events for key clients and partners. This varied role will see the successful candidates working closely with partners and fee earners to coach on BD best practice and profile raising initiatives, and will encompass project management of various campaigns, working with the digital marketing team.
The successful candidate will have strong previous BD experience gained in a law firm environment, have a collaborative, commercial and client centric approach and a demonstrable track record of developing opportunities and pipelines. A real passion for what you do is key for this role, as everyone at the firm really cares about the work they do.
