My client a magic circle law firm are looking for a BD Manager to join their corporate team. This is a great opportunity for an experienced manager looking for more opportunities. This role has a lot of exciting projects coming up and each BD Manager will have key clients to manage.
They are looking for an individual with strong stakeholders and be able to influence partners.
Responsibilities for the BD Manager will include:
- Business planning and advice - provide focus on the delivery and direction of BD activities.
- Proposals – take a lead role in preparing proposals, pitch presentations and credentials statements for London-based partners.
- Help partners on their presentations and encourage the teams to follow best practices.
- Client relationship management – assist partners, associates, and BD colleagues in the management
- Client listening – work on client listening programmes as appropriate; carry out client listening sessions with key clients.
- Assimilate the feedback into reports for the relevant partners.
- Proactively work with the partners to ensure that the feedback in reports is actioned appropriately.
- Management – responsibility for junior member(s) of corporate business development team
- Market and client research – to support business planning activities
To be successful in your application for BD Manager at this magic circle law firm you will need to be either a senior executive from a legal corporate background or an experienced BD Manager from a legal background but not necessarily corporate law.
