Due to continued growth and success, an exciting opportunity has arisen for a talented, client focused BD Manager to join this leading financial consultancy firm based in central London.

 

The firm are well established and have a strong reputation for excellent in the markets they operate in. They have gone from strength to strength in recent years, and this newly created hire is key to their ambitious future growth plans.

 

The firm work largely with clients in the Private Equity space, providing specialist advice and expertise. They have an impressive portfolio of clients, which continues to grow and this is largely down to the superb quality of their people, and the level of care they give their clients.

The BD Manager will join an existing small, but perfectly formed team, working with an established portfolio of clients to build relationships, networks, encourage referrals and spot opportunities. This position is very client facing, so the successful candidate will be meeting clients on a regular basis and attending a range of networking events. You’ll be working closely with the delivery team once opportunities have been identified, to scope out and support client onboarding, and also be involved in client feedback and client listening work to actively identify any areas for future opportunities or improvement.

 

The successful candidate for this role will have a true consultative approach and a demonstrable track record of developing strategic business relationships to leverage opportunities. A minimum of 6 years’ experience in a similar role is required, gained in a professional services, finance or private equity environment.

 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are key for this role, as is the ability to work both independently and as part of a team. Experience of working with client contacts at C-Suite level is essential, coupled with the ability to rapidly gain insight into new businesses and industries and quickly understand the issues these businesses are facing and be able to provide effective solutions.
