The firm’s Private Capital Industry Group is at the forefront of market developments, providing strategic advice and building lasting relationships with leading clients worldwide.
Key Responsibilities:
- Proactively manage industry group initiatives, including internal meetings, events, submissions, financial analytics, and client outreach programmes.
- Develop and execute go-to-market strategies in collaboration with senior leaders and business development colleagues, ensuring alignment with the firm’s overall strategy.
- Enhance the internal visibility of the firm’s global industry expertise, working closely with partners and associates.
- Manage key institutional client relationships, supporting global relationship partners and core teams, coordinating meetings, communications, and financial reporting.
- Act as a central point of contact for client teams, maintaining relationship history and coordinating efforts across business services.
- Oversee the client secondment process, from business case creation to candidate preparation and follow-up.
- Lead or participate in significant proposals and panel opportunities for key clients.
- Manage client feedback opportunities as part of the firm’s client feedback programme.
- Oversee international flagship events, targeting clients and coordinating local arrangements.
- Provide credentials for pitches, proposals, and RFPs as required.
- Partner with Marketing Communications to deliver thought leadership and strengthen client engagement.
- Support special projects, initiatives, and ad hoc requests as needed.
Person Specification:
- Minimum five years’ experience in marketing and business development within a professional services environment; prior law firm experience is beneficial.
- Educated to degree level or equivalent in a relevant subject area.
- Proven problem-solver with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Proactive, resilient, and highly organised, with strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Experienced in business development, preferably in law firms or international organisations.
- Detail-oriented, pragmatic, and flexible, with the ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficient in MS Office; experience with document management systems is advantageous.
- Effective team player with project management experience and a positive, energetic outlook.
- Skilled at building strong internal and external relationships.
