Associate BD Manager – Fintech

12-month FTC

Global law firm

London based

 

We are delighted to be working with a market leading global law firm who are looking for a talented Associate BD Manager to join their team based in London, for a period of 12 months, covering parental leave.

 

This role will focus on the fast paced and ever evolving Fintech sector and will see the successful candidate working closely with an extremely talented and engaged group of fee earners, joining a highly respected, high performing Marketing & BD team.

 

The role has a global remit, and is varied in nature, covering strategic planning and tactical delivery across all practice areas. Responsibilities include:

 

  • Collaborate with senior stakeholders globally to advise and deliver on the groups strategic plan, working closely with key practice groups to identify opportunities and streamline BD activities and initiatives and develop initiatives for emerging areas of Fintech.
  • Take ownership of client engagement initiatives through integrated campaigns, in close collaboration with internal functional specialist teams.
  • Oversee the production of strategically important RFP responses, pitches, and capability statements across practices.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders to identify opportunities with existing client relationships as well as supporting the development of regional client targeting initiatives.
  • Supporting on profile raising initiatives for partners.
  • Developing and promoting thought leadership campaigns, for internal and external use.
  • Providing advice and guidance on events, sponsorship opportunities and speaking engagements for the Fintech group.
  • Coordinate global directory and awards submissions.

 

The successful candidate for this Associate BD Manager role will need:

 

  • Previous BD and/or marketing experience gained the legal sector.
  • A global mindset and approach.
  • A proactive, ‘can-do’ mindset.
  • Excellent communication and relationship building skills and experience.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills.
  • The ability to commit to a 12-month contract role.
